The length and width of the glass windows are measured with tape and an Extra 4 inches should be added to the length so as to decide the length of the curtain rod. The curtain rod can be fitted to the top of the window by means of curtain rod holders. Holes should be drilled on the walls for fixing the rod holders. The curtain is then hung on the curtain rod and it is fixed to the holders. There should be 2 inch space between the curtain rod and the wall. This will enable easy movement of curtain on the rod.

Curtains for sliding glass doors should be washed regularly as curtains are drawn even when the windows and doors are kept open.
